Section 157 of the Evidence Act 2011 – What it Says and All You Need to Know.

Section 157 of the Evidence Act 2011 Provides as Follows:

When any document bearing a date has been proved, it is presumed to have been made on the date on it bears and if more documents than one bear the same date, they are presumed to have been executed in the order necessary to effect the object for which they were executed, but independent proof of the correctness of the date will be required if the circumstances are such that there may have been collusion as to the date which may injure any person or defeat the objects of any law.
